Chosen Generation Jr. High and High School Classes
Jr. High and High school age students are urged to participated in our jr. high and high school classes meeting Sunday mornings during first service after offering. Jr. High meets in the Betty Dorsey Wing and High school meets upstairs in the conference room. Come join us!
Caring Hands
Attention Life Change! We will be collecting items early for our annual Thanksgiving Food Basket Outreach. For the month of August we are asking each family to donate Jiffy Corn Bread Mix so that we may obtain our goal of 200 boxes. You can drop all donations off in the Caring Hands barrel in the foyer. Thank you!
Prayer and Fasting
We will be having church wide prayer and fasting Wednesday, September 9th through Friday, September 11th, 2009 . Each night we will come together at 7pm in the main sanctuary for a time of corporate prayer. We encourage the whole body to participate each of those nights.
Faith Giving Offering
Let’s not miss this special opportunity to honor the Lord in our giving! Anytime we are blessed with the challenge to give in a way that will allow us to outreach and accomplish the Lord’s mission for Life Change, let’s present him a gift that is a a sweet smelling sacrifice! Security Team
In an effort to provide maximum safety for our church, we are in need of both men and women volunteers to be a part of our church security team. If interested you may pick up an application packet at the resource center.
Life Changers
We are now enrolling for the 2009-2010 Life Changer’s Discipleship Program. If you are interested, please pick up an application today in the foyer! Applications are due to Pastor Andrew Miller no later than Tuesday, August 2009.
Jesus & Me
We want to invite all children to a series called “Facing the Giants of Peer Pressure.” In this series we will be teaching our kids biblical insight on how to resist peer pressures. This series will begin Wednesday, August 12th through 26th from 7pm-8pm. If you have any questions please call Pastor Montreal Granville @ 503-288-0479.
Medical Volunteers
We are in need of volunteers who are trained in various medical practices such as CPR who could assist in the event of an urgent or emergent matter during our church services. If you are trained and qualified in emergency medical techniques and would like to serve our church in this area please pick up an information packet at the resource center.
Men of Destiny
To kick off the next Men of Destiny series “Under Cover,” we will be having a Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, August 29th at 9am. Come join us in fellowship!
Men of Destiny will resume the “Under Cover” series Monday nights at 7pm starting September 14th.
